Default Account in the ATI tab??

Hi, I am automating the Futures Trading from TradeStation to Interactive Broker, I set up an Account Connection from NinjaTrader to IB that I need to enter my IB's account name and password, so after I connected to that IB connection from NinjaTrader, does it mean I am trading with that IB account? Do I still need to change the Default Account setting in the ATI tab??

So the "Account Connection" has no meaning to which account I am going to trade?? This has to be controlled in the ATI tab?

Hard to answer per se to cover all scenarios correctly, but generally the account connection does not set the default ATI account, you either select it or use the workspace option to designate the account to execute to.

Ok, but once I connected to IB from Ninja, the IB's TWS is opened and showing that I am using the account belong to that IB's account connection, so I think I must be trading with that account even I doesn't select it in the ATI tab, right ??

If you connect to the IB live account connection and neither set the live account in the ATI (default account) or via the workspace options > the TS strategy would execute on the NinjaTrader internal Sim101 account.
