    login failed

    I have received my user ID, NT licence, I have set up The connection for Gain through the wizard.
    I cant connect for some reason the following message keeps poping up.

    Login failed. unable to log into GAIN API. check your user name and password. GAIN erroe message "Authenication Problem" do I know you.?

    I have checked the password and User name and they are correct and gain has also resent the details to double check.

      Hello ijcrump,

      Could you please forward your Gain username and password so I can test the connection my end. Please send it to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com, reference this forum thread and put 'Attn Jason' in the subject header.

      In the mean time, please check for software, such as (corporate) firewalls, spyware and ant-virus software, that could be blocking the connection.

          Hello dpappyp,

          Could you please send me your Gain username and password as well, so I can test your connection on my end. Also, make sure you set 'Account held at' correctly as well. Please see the Gain connection guide at the link below.


          The error message indicates the username and password you entered are not valid.

                  Unfortunately, I cannot recall receiving the information or seeing that email. Do you perhaps have a ticket number? Did you receive a response back as per the email you sent us?

                  Please send it again and also copy [email protected] on the email.

                    Hi Jason, I also have the same problem with my GAIN Login. I have read the instructions and have a live, multi-broker licence for Ninja. Could I send you my Gain details for you to check please?

                        The solution for me was to just re-download and install NT, the slightly newer version had the option to select UK or USA, the version I was originally using did not.
