Two charts show different prices

Hi

I'm having some issues with the charting display. I'm using Trading Technologies (demo acc) on a demo NT version.
Now I run two charts from the same contract (YM): one 5 min and the other 10 secs. Now the 10 secs chart displays the data alright without any problems. But when I now change on the 5 min chart, the open and closes of the bars are sometimes several points off the open/Close of the 10 secs chart. How can this happen? It isn't that important, as all the system trade after the "right" data (from the 10 secs chart), but still confusing enough.

No it has nothing to do with historical data. Right now, as I'm running both charts in realtime, the 5 min bar chart gets other open/closes as the "real" 10 secs chart.

Hello MasterSepp,

Unfortunately when building a Second bar Tick data is used and when building a Minute bar Minute data is used. Therefore depending on how your data provider timestamps the data they may not show the same values.

Ok, i see.
But the interesting thing is, that I'm running a strategy, which uses the open of the 5 minute bar as well as the close of the 10 secs bar. And although the open of the 5 min bar gets displayed wrong in the chart, the strategy uses the correct price for the open of the 5 min bar.
