    Ok, I see that you are disconnected from Gain when the EURUSD error is listed. This is as expected, since at that moment you are only connected to Zen-Fire, which does not support forex data.

    Please connect to Gain only and check again.

      I realized that issue and also understood that the Log entries are correct as per what it says. However even after connecting GAIN alone after having restarted NT, the problem persist. However I am not facing any problem with my ZenFire connection. How surprising.

      Let me inform you Jason that I have not take any Demo from any link or anywhere for GAIN connection. I just added GAIN connection directly without anyone offering me Demo on it and used Ninja Trader as my Historical data servers, mode defined as Demo thereby I don't have to define any Username and Password. It was working fine till day before. Only since yesterday, it started working abnormally. Also for your information, I upgraded from Single Broker to MultiBroker yesterday only. Is that going to make any difference? I am not sure. Is there any step I have to follow to adopt for MultiBroker usage. When NT loads, I can see MultiBroker checked (activated by tick sign) on the splash screen. Tell me if I am doing something wrong.

      I have taken multibroker account so that I can add Forex.com account on NT, I am still waiting for them to provide me with my login details and start trading mini forex account as 6E is too much for my account size.

        Hello Yusuf,

        You are not doing anything wrong as per your description.

        I suggest to recreate your Gain connection and check if this will result in real-time data. Please go to Tools-->Account Connections, highlight the Gain connection and click Remove. Click Add and recreate the connection.


        If you receive your live login credentials, please check if the issue persists when connecting to your live Gain account.

          Thanks for your support and replies. Somehow this Demo connection doesn't seem to be working. I have removed and recreated a new connection for Demo account, still the same issue. Doesn't matter. Now I will wait till I get my login details and then I will try again to see if it is working fine.

            Please let me know the outcome after testing the live connection. If the issue persists, please send your log and trace files to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com. You can find these files at the following locations:

            Start Menu--> My Documents--> NinjaTrader 6.5--> Log--> log.20091217 for today. (log.yyyymmdd for any other date)

            Start Menu--> My Documents--> NinjaTrader 6.5--> Trace--> trace.20091217 for today. (trace.yyyymmdd for any other date)

                Jason,

                Just a quick response. Today morning, when I started GAIN connection, everything seems to be fine. Will check it for the rest of the day. I am still on Demo mode and awaiting my login instructions. Thanks for your continued support the last day.

                    Authentication Problem

                    Hi Support,

                    I have lately received my login details to trade forex using Forex.com as broker and GAIN as datafeed. I followed all the instructions to create a new account and upon connecting received a message of Authentication Problem. I checked regarding this with Forex.com and I was told:

                    "This account is set up as a Ninja Trader account. You will need to check with Ninja Trader to get the platform running for you".

                          Can you please confirm you rebranded your Gain live account for use with NinjaTrader.

                          If so, please send me your Gain username and password to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com. Please put 'Attn Jason' in the subject header and reference this forum thread.
