    Problem Debugging VS 2008

    I've updated my NinjaTrader to latest version. I uninstalled and reinstalled .NET according to http://blogs.msdn.com/astebner/archive/2008/08/01/8803442.aspx. When I click "Start Debugging" in Visual Studio, I get the following:

    Make sure you compile your NinjaScript after you turn on Debug Mode from within the NinjaScript Editor.

      Problem Debugging VS 2008

      It looks like NinjaTrader can't find something associated with the System or .NET files. Please be more detailed in your analysis. I've done everything specified in the Help Guide. Please help me in a way that would make me want to spend the $1000 for the live version of NinjaTrader. I'd hate to think if I was faced with a similiar scenario after spending that kind of money that it would only buy me a referral to the Help Guide from tech support. I also uninstalled and reinstalled .NET according to http://blogs.msdn.com/astebner/archive/2008/08/01/8803442.aspx. My setup was working fine with the previous version Ninjatrader before Version 6.5.1000.14. I just updated my NinjaTrader a few days ago.

        As mentioned in my email, Visual Studio debugging is unfortunately not supported by us. Use of it is limited to what is outlined in the Help Guide already.

        That being said, you should not be pressing "Start Debugging" as this step was not mentioned in the article. Please just attach the process to NinjaTrader. Then in your NinjaTrader throw the indicator you are debugging onto a chart and it will hit your breakpoints in VS. Be sure you have compiled your NinjaScript assembly after turning on Debug Mode in the NinjaScript Editor before you do this.
