    Help in found indicator Error

    Dear friends,
I felt there was a bug in mine NT6.5, because at some moments I could not change the instruments in the charts. So I downloaded the NT again and installed it. When completed the installation I saw that the custom indicators I already had installed were not appearing to be put in the charts.
So I went in File/Utilities and tried to import them, but NT send me a messagem: "You have custom NinjaScript files on your PC that have programming errors. These errors must be resolved before you can import a NinjaScript Archive File."
So I found, clicking Tools/EditNinjaScript/Indicators that all the custom indicators are listed, but How Can I Know Which One is with Error?
    Can someone help me, please?

    barrosco,

Open any indicator with the editor and compile.

The bad indicator will show up as an error at the bottom of the window.

Double click on it and it will open the file with the problem.

      Hello Barrosco,

      Thank you for your post.

Rt6176 is correct, and thank you for your input. If you double click to open an indicator and then hit the F5 button while that indicator window is selected it will compile all indicators, thus showing your where the programming errors lie.

Please see the following link for more information.

Unistall and Install again would be better?

I believe maybe can be easy to Unistall and Install the NT again. How do you think, please?

          Hi Barrosco,

Uninstalling and reinstalling would take care of the issue with the indicators, but you would want to uninstall completely, which would remove any workspaces and templates and your database. If you wish to do that you can follow the instructions below.

Please follow the steps listed below to completely uninstall and reinstall NinjaTrader:
          1. Close all running applications.
          2. Then from the Start menu select --> Control Panel --> Add and Remove Programs.
          3. From Add and Remove Programs select NinjaTrader 6.5 and click Remove.
          4. Then manually delete the folder "NinjaTrader 6.5" located under Start --> My Documents.
          5. Delete any NinjaTrader installation files. This can be done by going to Start --> My Computer --> Search button --> search for (NinjaTrader*) --> select Local C Disk and then press search.
          6. Then you will need to clear your internet browser cache and history. You will clear this from within your internet browser (with IE, Tools-->Options, delete cookies and files, clear history).
          7. Reboot your machine.
          8. Once these steps are completed, download NT6.5 from the link below:
            Download

Please let us know if you are able to get up and running after the reinstall.

Thank you Ryan Olson, but tell me, please:

Is it a way to delete a lot of indicators at the same time?

              Hi Barrosco,

A complete reinstall will delete all added custom indicators, and reset NinjaTrader to its default installation.

Myself, personally, with so many things already loaded on my NT, I would just move the suspect files out of the NT file structure and then boot NT up and retest.

                  Thank you friends

I opted to reinstall the NT after to uninstall all Ninja things.
                  Now it is ok.
Thank you very much for your help.
I wish you all Ninja People, Happy Holidays.
