Problem mb trading

    Problem mb trading

    I HAVE NINJA TRADER MB TRADING AND LIVE WITH A FEW DAYS AGO FROM THE NAVIGATOR OF TRADING MB tells me lots instead of microbatch drops. QUANTITY AS IT APPEARS IN 1000 BUT GAIN OR LOSS addition or subtraction ME AS IF A LOT.
    WOULD LIKE HELP TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM

    Hello herpla1000,

    Thank you for your post.

    Can you please go to Tools-->Options-->Misc and set the Quote Currency (FX) to TenthPip.

    Additionally, when trading currency pairs can you please specify what value you are inputting for the order quantity within NinjaTrader? Because if you wish to trade a micro lot within NinjaTrader you may need to input a value of .0001M to represent the 1000 units of a micro lot.

      TenthPip have configured.
      Besides what I mention, NOR DOES WELL BOARD FX.
      THE COUNT OF LOTS microbatch drops INSTEAD OF DOING WITH THE EUR / JPY

        NOW HE HAS TRIED TO MAKE A COMPLETE uninstall NinjaTrader as I have read in the forum.

          Hello,

          Can you please provide me with your log and trace files for today's date, and send those to support [at] ninjatrader [dot] com.

          Trace files will be located by going to My Documents->NinjaTrader 6.5->Trace-> trace.2009xxxx.txt
          Log files will be located by going to My Documents->NinjaTrader 6.5->Log->log.2009xxxx.txt


          When providing those files can you please specify this forum post, as well as clarify if the gain and loss values are displayed in NinjaTrader, and what you see in MB Trading that is different.

                Hi Herpla1000,

                I reviewed your log and trace files, and I notice two things.

                1. Can you please upgrade your version of NinjaTrader to 6.5.1000.14 from 6.5.1000.8 from the following link.
                http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/download_trading_software.htm

                2. Additionally, please make sure that you are on the current supported version of MB Trading Navigator from the following link.


                Also, when entering order quantities please enter the number of units so for a micro-lot please enter a quantity of 1000 or .001M, 10000 or .01M for mini-lot and 100000 for a lot or .1M.

                  Ryan I have done what you have said to me and in Windows Dress MBT's Navigator it(he,she) does rare(strange) things to me; nevertheless, in Windows XP it(he,she) does not do it.
                  Which(Who) podria to be the reason?

                    Thank you for your reply.

                    Can you elaborate on what is occuring? What sort of strange behavior are you seeing?

                    If an image would help explain the strange behavior you are seeing, please provide one.

                    To post a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CRTL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and upload the file to your next forum post as an attachment.

                        Hello herpla1000,

                        How are these positions reflected in NinjaTrader under the Positions-tab?

                        What is referred to a as Windows Dress?

                        I suggest to contact MBTrading as well and check if this can be as expected somehow due to a setting in the MBTrading Navigator and if it is possible to have it report as you expect.
