Exit on Close EURUSD (Forex)

Hi,

ive created a strategy without any profit targets. the only exit is the "exit on close" attribute. while the oders in backtesting exited as expected at 12pm, the orders in real testing mode, arent closed.

what das "exit on close" mean in EURUSD (forex)?

The order stays in market. There is no exit since 36 hours. It seems like "Exit on close" doesnt work for currencies. Is that true?

Hi IceRage, no it should work regardless of the instrument - please check into which exact session begin and end times you're using as 'ExitOnClose' would use them for the session definitions.

Also: how many ExitOnCloseSeconds are you using?

where can i adjust this? by strategy variables, or application wide?

the ammount of seconds left to "Exit on Close" is 30 seconds.

EDIT: If i add a strategy without using the adding option by chart, then its possible to define a time range. but where is this option, when i want to add a strategy to a given chart?

Seems like 2 different windows for the same strategy. 1 with session range attributes, and 1 without.
