Good morning,

I have open a demo account on ActiveTrades but I could not find how to connect NT to my ActiveTrades account.

Is there a help guide?

ActivTrades executes through Patsystem datafeed.

instead of openening a new thread, i just add the following, maybe slightly stupid, question to this one:

can ninjatrader be used to trade forex and CFDs with activetrades? I am not interested in futures but i am not satisfied with the limited time frames their forex and CFD platforms offer. (i am looking to scalp in the 5sec time frame)

There are other data providers for forex. We are adding FXCM shortly as well.

thanks for the quick response.
so uh, next question: is there a possible way to connect to an external forex data provider and to activetrades at the same time, so that I've got the real time data from the external provider and when I place my order it is being sent straight to activetrades?

as you can see i'm new to this and rather uninformed. trying to get some insight.

Its possible to connect to the external feed and trade to activtrades.

You can connect to a data provider, and then still trade to your active broker account. Generally you will also get a data feed with your funded brokerage account as well. Multi-data feed connections are already supported by ninjatrader.
