Account connection NT to IB, missing IB provider

    Account connection NT to IB, missing IB provider

    Hi,
    I want to make account connection to IB and when I do it with manual, NT doesn't have in menu IB provider:


    5. From within the Control Center window, select “Tools > Account Connections…”
    6. In the Connection Manager window, press Add…
    7. I cannot choose provider Interactive Brokers, because it isn't there

    Where is problem?

    I have version of NT: 6.5.1000.7 and TWS 899.8

    Hello Datha,

    This usually indicates you have a license entered at Help-->License Key that is set to connect to a different provider.

    Please send me an email at support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com and I will provide the free NinjaTrader license, which will allow you to select IB as provider upon creating a connection.

    In addition, please download and install NinjaTrader version 6.5.1000.14 on top of your current version.


    Please install TWS version 900 as well as per the IB connection guide.

        Hello Nikoli,

        If you did not receive a response yet as per the email you sent, please send me another email. Please put 'Attn Jason' in the subject header and reference this forum thread.

              I only want see bars of instrument IB in NT

              but can't connect to IB (TWS)

              because NOT have IB in list Provider

              I have only:
              BarChart
              eSignal
              Google
              IQFeed
              Kinetik
              Yahoo
              Zen-Fire

                Hello Nikoli,

                Unfortunately I was not in the office anymore when you sent your second email. Did you receive response from another colleague?

                I see you have a live license that is set to connect to Zen-Fire. Since it is set to Zen-Fire, it does not include IB.

                I have sent you a private message via the forum including the free NinjaTrader license key.

                Please enter it at Control Center-->Help-->License Key. Subsequently you will be able to select IB as provider. However please note that the license key is limited to trade in simulation only.
