Getting "good" historical data

    Hi Doug,

    I would need to test the tick data my self, you may try using a data sharing site like yousendit.com

    After the import, are you opening a YM 03-09 or YM 03-10 chart? Open a ym 03-10 to see the imported data.

    Zen-Fire does not support daily historical data, one option is to use 1440 minute charts instead.

      hi NT Tim
      I sent to you 1 min data yesterday.
      I just took your suggestion using 1 min data
      - imported successfully to YM 03-10
      - tried new chart using 1 min data on YM 03-10 from 03-30-2008 to 01-20-2010
      the chart opened up with plenty of room for all of this data to show, but no data showed up and at the moment when I move the slider all the way to right, no new minute data is generated.

      I take it that you tested in Sim101 with the 1 min file that I sent to your

      The only reason I am persistent is others have successfully used Disktrader data in NT
      and NT Tim seems to say that if the data is good, it should work in Sim101 on YM 03-10 If I can get the sample to work then I will order from Disktrader.

          Hi NT Tim
          I have a call into Disktrader to ask if the file I downloaded is valid for NT, that is if they return my call.

          If I go back to my original plan, which was to use Mirus demo for 30 days and collect the live data. Would I just turn on the NT recorder for 30 days to collect all of the data. Then would I be able to use this as historical data to run Strategy Analysizer against.
