cannot connect to mbt demo

i have NT 6.5.1000.9
i have mb navigator v 11.3.04 connecting to demo server
i configured the connections to use mbtrading demo and entered the user id and pass that i use to login on the mb navigator.

however when mynavigator is running, i try to connect NT to mbt but get error Login Failed, MBT Navitaor login failed.

i know i am using the corect userid and pass from the navigator. checked it a few times.
pl help.

Please upgrade to the latest version of NinjaTrader 6.5 (version 6.51000.14). You can download the latest version of NinjaTrader 6.5 at this link:

Make sure you close NinjaTrader before performing the install/update.

If after this install you are still unable to connect, please remove & rebuild your account connection to MBT. You can find the step-by-step instructions here:

Thank you for your response.

Please take the following steps:
1. Close NinjaTrader 6.5 if it is running.
2. Close MBT Navigator if it is running.
3. Restart NinjaTrader 6.5
4. Go to File > Connect > and select your MBT account/data connection

Now you should be connected to MBT without this error.

Note: If you start the MBT Navigator software & login through this app & then start NinjaTrader & try to log in, this error will trigger.

Please let me know if this does not correct the issue.

doe this mean that i cannot load mynavigator and see the orders etc when NT is running?

You can still see your orders. Just access the MBT Navigator in NinjaTrader by going to File > New > & selecting MBT Navigator…

I have version 11.4.0.2 installed. Would this make a difference?

NinjaTrader can connect to MB Trading but you must use the Navigator version 11.3.0.4

Are you starting the Navigator software first & then starting NinjaTrader?

Make sure you are connecting to MBT through NinjaTrader. Running the Navigator stand alone software & then trying to log into MBT through NinjaTrader will give you this login error.
