      It is one of the old stories that last for years

      If you look at this thread,



      you will see that the problem was already there in September 2008. I managed to persuade IB via a couple of tickets to make some changes, so I can display FOREX data correctly now, but similar changes were not possible for all instruments.

      So I still cannot display daily data for IPE futures (COIL and GOIL), I cannot display the Russell 2000 future (TF), because the sessions are closing at 12 PM GMT +1.

      This is current status for display of daily data from IB by NinjaTrader:

      US based customers: no problem
      UK and other GMT based customers: no problem
      GMT +1: no IPE futures, no Russell 2000
      GMT +2: same as GMT +1, add no FOREX, no Globex interest futures, no NYMEX futures
      GMT +3: same as GMT +2, add no index futures
      further EAST : no US futures and FOREX

      East European and Middle East customers are currently second class.

      Problem is that all indicators based on daily data and used for intraday charts, such as pivot indicator will be false as well, if daily charts are incorrect.

      I am happy, if somebody else complains... I still hope that the issue is going to be solved one day.

              can someone tell me how i can get NT7?
              also is there no solution whatsoever for this charting problem? it's really a pain to not see a daily chart...

                You can resolve the issue by setting your PC clock to a time zone east from GMT as mentioned by Harry (post #17). Make sure NinjaTrader is closed when modifying your PC clock.

                  Hi Jason,

                  I was actually planning on purchasing NT, however "changing" my PC Clock is not really an option. I have a lot of other programs that require me to have the correct time. Seeing as this is an issue that has been occurring for over 2 years, is there no way to look at implementing it for NT7?
