    Hello laredo,

    Thank you for your post.

I suggest when downloading the file to save it in a place on your PC that is easy to locate such as the Desktop. Next please go to File-->Utilities-->Import NinjaScript-->Select the file-->Open.

After you imported the file successfully it should be available within NinjaTrader.

Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.

      import ninjascript

I download it successful since it show up in a "search" and I move it to desktop, but when I utilities>import ninjascript....it doesnt appear anyplace where the Search shows it to be located.

I have dowloaded and loaded dozens of indicators from ninjaforum before so I know how the process works..its just not appearing?

      Any ideas?

        Hi Laredo,

        Thank you for your reply.

Which indicator are you trying to import?

Is it still in the .zip file or has the indicator been uncompressed.

            Hi laredo,

            Thank you for your reply.

1.) Which post # were you referring to on that thread? Aside from images, I did not see any other attachments.

2.) Is the file listed as being a .zip file or a .cs file?

The specified barwidth in the settings is used as the maximum width so you could try setting it to 9-10 something.

              it says attachment 9085

the other one is a "cs" file.

and th eother has a -SETUP.TMP on the end of it

                  Hi laredo,

Thank you for your reply and the clarification.

Since the regular import function is not doing the trick for you, your best bet would be to contact the author of the indicators you are attempting to import to request installation instructions.

                    unzipping a "cs" typefile

                    Thank you.

IF I need to unzip a file, you asked about if it was a "cs" type file, hat does that indicate please and what program might I use to unzip the file prior to trying to "import ninjascript"

                    Thank you in advance,Kyle.

                      Hi laredo,

                      Thank you for your reply.

The .cs file is a C# file that contains the code of the indicator you are importing.
Most commonly, these files will be contained within a .zip file, which is what NT is expecting.
