    How to Import Data from Yahoo.com

    Hello. As I understand it in order to import a historical daily price file into NT the data must be in ".TXT" format, the date must be yyyymmdd and each line must be separated by a semi-colon. I've downloaded the historical daily price file for the SPX from Yahoo.com. Unfortunately they only allow you to download in ".CSV" format. Can you guys tell me how I can convert this to ".TXT" file with the appropriate date format and each line separated by the semi-colon? Thanks

    You can create a free connection to yahoo and receive data for SP500 index.

    Unfortunately, we can't offer much assistance on changing the csv files from yahoo into a format NinjaTrader can read. You could try using excel to work with the data directly.
