Using 2 strategies on the same instrument

I want to trade two strategies on the same instrument at the same time without the orders (stops, profit targets etc) for one affecting the other.

For instance I want to be able to take a longer term position while also scalping the same market.

The introduction video for ATM in the help manual demonstrates ticking and un ticking the "Apply fills to active strategy as default" in the Tools/Options/Strategies menu - yet on my version of NT6.5.1000.14 that whole menu looks a lot different and there is no such option????

Thank you for your post.

To do this you will want to use the following steps to change your ATM Strategy selection mode and have two seperate SuperDOMs open.

• Right click in in the SuperDOM
• Properties
• ATM Strategy selection mode
• Choose "DisplaySelectedATMStrageyOnly" from the dropdown window
• Click Ok
• Repeat this procedure in both SuperDOMs
  

With this mode your positions will get their own stop loss and targets and will be managed seperately in each SuperDOM. I have included a link below to our Help Guide that goes over the different ATM Strategy Selection Modes.
