Zen fire support for 64 bit

It has come to my attention that Zenfire data feed will not work woth a 64 bit operating system. It that true?
I'm shopping for a new laptop and that would drastically narrow my choices. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi tomek001,

    Thank you for your post.

At this time, we do not offer support for 64bit systems as it has been seen to cause issues in some cases, however, many users have used NinjaTrader on 64bit systems without any issues.

With NinjaTrader 7, set to release soon, 64bit systems will be fully supported.

      Thnaks Tim,

I realize that. However, I hear from other traders that Zen Fire ( not Ninja ) will not work wioth 64 bit operating system. Any insight on that?

        Hi tomek001,

Unfortunately, I do not have any other information, as we do not support it at this time.

            no problem on 6.5.

NT7b9 is full of bugs. even if it hit final, i would give it another year before putting my real money on it.

                  Thanks cw3000,

That is what I thought ... since only the professional and ultimate offers virtualization of XP. Another $150 for Microsoft, lol

I believe Virtual PC and xp mode only work if your CPU supports it.

That is correct. The best way is to verify on Intel or AMD site which CPU will support virtualization. I'm going with i7 920. Other than that anything starting with P8700 will do that.
