JerryWar, dismiss previous response.
Correction from e-Signal today on the #F symbols,
"Thank you for your e-mail
#F symbols are not able to back-adjust, the only way to back adjust is to use 1!
If you have any questions or require further assistance, please let us know"
Note, that the 1! symbols do not stream to Ninja
(not part of their DataManager)

Hi Trend,
Thank you for your reply.
Historical data would need to be reloaded when this occurs.
Unfortunately, there is not currently a method with which to schedule historical data reloads. This will, however, occur automatically for all charts that are loaded when connected to the data provider.

How does NT react on a chart when the #F adjusts from

That is, at a certain date esignal rolls over to the new month and backadjusts all the previous data. Does NT adjust the
previous data automatically? or, you would have to Reload all
Historical data? If you have to Reload, is there any way to
schedule automatic Reloads?
Thanks,

In the symbol mapping, you only need to enter ZS. Then in the Instrument Manager, locate the front month drop down field, at the bottom you should see ##-## and you select this.

Why do I need FTSE data to recieve ZS which is on the ecbt ?
I do get live data for ZS on ecbt. The problem is not the data
its in the instrument manager dialog box it immediately rejects
my input of ZS ##-## saying the characters are illegal. I did a little test by entering a nonsensical symbol name with what it considers legal characters
and it accepts it. It is not doing checking for the data at this point.
PLease help

I tried entering "ZS ##-##" for esignal ZS #F with the quotes and without the quotes but Got the following error from instrument manager.
The "Master Instrument" Field only can hold Letters and digits and underscore. It doesn't like the "#" and "-"
what am I missing
Thanks
Jerry

Ok, thanks for the reply alandon - did you test on eSignal directly that they provider continuous contracts for the Z symbol?

Hello alandon,
Are you able to receive data for the Z 03-09 in a chart?
Do you receive data for the Z ##-## when using the default symbol mapping of Z|EEI?

eSignal does have this contract it is there under Z1!-EEI
When I type it in NT it 'seems' to start to load the data, and no errors but nothing on chart.
Btw this is my 1st time using this forum and the response time you just did is incredible

Also check your log tab for errors when trying to brin up this contract.
