Two DataProviders-Different Instruments - All Sim Account

Is it possible to have Two different Data Providers (Zen-Fire for futures) and eSignal (for FOREX) and execute trades all in Simulation? e.g. I connect to Zen-Fire first then eSignal secondly - can I execute Forex and Futures trades and just just to the "Primary Connection: which in this case is Zan-Fire (Futures)?

So I went out and purchased eSignal(Forex) data in adition to my Zen-fire futures feed. I have the Zen-fire connected first then eSignal.


When I try to place a Forex order on Sim, it gets rejected saying that I am only allowed to place Sim orders with my primary connection!!!!

I have the Global Sim checked!

Please advise.

Thank you for your reply. Sorry for the confusion.

Unfortunately, the sim account supports instrument types available from the first connection established only.

For your purposes, you would want to connect to eSignal then to Zen-Fire and you would be able to place this trade.

Interesting: I gues the best that I can do is record the FOREX and trade it later as I am moslty interested in the Futures...........

Is there a particular reasoning for this limitation?

No reasons that I am aware of for this. I will, however, contact my development team and ask that they consider removing this limitation in future versions of the software.
