NinjaTrader 6.5 fails to start on Windows Server 2003 64 bit

Hello!
I'm trying to run NinjaTrader on my computer and I get .NET 2.0 Runtime Error. Trace file is attached. I saw that 64 bit platforms are not supported Is it possible to fix this problem?

Thank you for your post.

You can try uninstalling and reinstalling the .NET framework, however, that is the extent of what I can suggest based on the trace file since the operating system is 64 bits. As an aside, NinjaTrader 7 will support 64 bit OS.

Please follow the instructions below to re-install the Microsoft .NET Framework on your PC.

• Terminate any applications running on your PC
• Go to the Windows Control Panel
• "Add/Remove programs" for XP users or "Uninstall a program" for Vista users
• Locate and uninstall the .NET Framework
  • If your highest version is 4.0 or greater than do not continue with these instructions and let us know and we will follow up with further instructions
  • If your highest version is 3.5 then proceed and uninstall this version and skip the next line
  • If your highest version is 2.0 then proceed and uninstall this version
  
  
• Install version 3.5 of the .NET Framework which contains the 2.0 version which is required by NinjaTrader 6.5 (Download from here)
• After the install please check for updates to the .Net Framework with the Windows Update function

Note: Do not reboot your PC in between these steps as this can potentially create more issues that we are unfortunately not qualified to assist with.

Hi

I already tried to install .NET 3.5. First of all I get the same error, second of all my other applications stopped working, so I returned to .NET 2.0. Is it possible to download version 7.0?

1.) Unfortunately, as 64 bit operating systems are not supported with the current version of NinjaTrader, we have no further recommendations on this.

2.) The beta program for NinjaTrader 7 is currently closed, but if you would email Sales [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com with the following, we can add you to the list of parties interested in participating in future beta releases.

- Full name and country of residence
- If you are a paying user, your license key (Help > License Key)
- How long you have been using NinjaTrader for
- Any past experience beta testing NinjaTrader
- Any comments you would like to add
