Historical Tick Data Issue

I purchased historical tick data for NQ from Disktrading as one of the Ninjatrader moderators posted a link for it. The historical tick data megafile was split into 10 parts (15mil lines each), and all 10 parts load successfully under the name "NQ 03-10.TXT" (one at a time, renaming each file to "NQ 03-10.TXT" one after the other, loading from "..db/incoming"

The problem is I can't seem to generate a chart with it.

I successfully loaded the 1 minute data and it works fine.

What is the trick to get Ninjatrader to work with the historical tick data? I do have a live license key and use PFG as my broker.

When generating the chart, do you see any errors either in pop-up windows or in the Log tab of the Control Center?

No errors, just empty charts. Is there some merging of files or something that I should be doing?

Within the text files the first column will be from the when the data. How far back do the files have data for.

Additionally, if you loaded all of the data under NQ 03-10 then the data should be available for that specific front month.

One thing that may be occurring is that the historical data from PFG is overwriting the data in the database from the .txt files.

Can you please re-import the data and then view an NQ chart while you are not connected to PFG and see if the data is present.

The first line of data contains:

20000127 000000;3619.00;0

So it looks like January 27 of 2000.

I will try loading a chart without being connected to PFG. I will try your other suggestion and report back.

I don't know about non-FOREX tick data, but there is a pretty serious issue with the FOREX tickdata from disktrading.com.
