Adding an index not in the defaults
The 10-Year Treasury Note Index (TNX) from CBOE is not in the default list when trying to open a new chart. This is odd because it's the most widely watched in the world. Anyway, is there a way of adding TNX manually? I tried using the Instrument Manager but no joy.Tags: None

Treasury Note
Hello,
Thank you for your post.
Unfortunately the 10 year Treasury Note Index is not included in our list of predefined instruments.
You will need to add this instrument manually, by following the instructions in the link below.
All the information need to create the instrument can be found at the exchange.
Thanks,Last edited by Guest; 07-10-2007, 12:57 PM.

Hi,
Can you tell me who you have as a datafeed provider? Is it also possible for you to send us screeshots of your set up for the TNX.
You need to take screenshots of the Definitions and Misc tab. In order to do this open up the instrument manager and then highlight the Index in the middle section and click Edit to open up the Instrument Editor. In the editor you need to take the screenshots.
Highlight the window and click ALT+Prnt Scrn to copy. Then compose an email and right click--> Paste to paste the screenshot in.
Send your screenshots to [email protected] and refer to this post. We then will check your settings and see if we can get the Index up and running.
