Problem with British pound decimal point

Hi
I'm running NT 6.5.1000.14 and IB TWS 900.6 stand alone version.
Using sim mode.

My problem is with the stocks on LSE quoted in pence. The only way to display them in NT is in pounds but in actual fact they are in pence, so for example . Barclays would be classed as £345 when it is actual 345p or £3.45

I could not find any setting to change this. because of this problem it messes up the account funds, strategy back testing etc...

Thank you for your post.

This is something that you can define on a per-intrument basis.

Click Tools > Instrument Manager
Identify the instrument you want to change and click Edit, then misc tab.
Look for the Interactive Brokers symbol mapping. After the symbol you can add a pipe symbol (| or shift + \ ) and the divisor.

To decrease by factor of 100 (in your Barclay example):
BARC|100


If you have a need to increase by factor of 10, use:
BARC|.01

hi,

I tried that like you said ie BARC|100 it hasn't worked unfortunately, when i bring up a chart or stratergy analyser it's still in pounds and not in pence. Any further ideas.
