    Market Recorder not always recording

    Wondering why my market recorder does not show data for some days, even though the market recorder is activated, and my my charts have been connected to my broker. I have been watching the markets, and today for instance, I went to go back and do a tick replay, and there was no data for 3/11/10. Help is appreciated, a little frustrated.

    Thank you for your post.

    Is the instrument you were viewing earlier in your chart the same as what you're trying to playback? Earlier today was your chart set to a tick interval? Can you view other intervals with today's replay file?

    You will need the base data type for the interval you're intersted in. See below for more information on how NinjaTrader builds chart bars.

      Yes. when i go to connect to market replay connection, there is no date listed for today or yesterday. I was connected on both of those days. So I can't firgure it out.

        Make sure you are closing NinjaTrader once per day. It's possible that today and yesterday's session are lumped in to tuesday's data.

          Thanks Ryan, that has happened before, and I found out that it needs to be shut down. However, it doesnt seem to be what is happening in this instance. Oh, well, maybe it will be resolved by tomorrow.
