    scale problem

    Greetings,

I am new to the forum but am hopeful for finding help with a problem I am having with the charts. All of the minute charts work fine but the daily charts are auto scaling fine with the exception of the last few days. For the past 5 days on these charts , the scale starts at 0 and makes the data really small for that reason. Is there a fix for this?

    Hello,

Can you post a screen shot so I can see what you mean?
To post a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CRTL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and post the file as an attachment.

Have you tried right clicking to the right or below the chart and dragging to resize the chart?:

      Hi Ben,

      Thanks for the reply.

Enclosed are 3 attachments. Notice the dates. 3/13 is the last view of daily prices. The scale starts at 0. Also please note the indicator window on the bottom.

Next notice the 3/5 view. This was done by pulling the mouse left so that this date is the last one in the view. Notice the scale as well as the bottom indicator window.

The last pic is with the last bar showing 3/4 as the last in the view. Also notice the bottom indicator window.

Any help to resolve this would surely be appreciated.

      Thanks in advance,

        Hello,

It looks like the issue is the big change in value of price on your chart. Notice you have a couple dashes (price plots) at the bottom of the first chart. This causes your indicators to plot with a unusually large range as well throwing off their panels. Try right clicking the chart and reload historical data. Also, go into your properties and be sure you are displaying weekends and the session times are both set to 1200AM. Other than that, you may want to drag down on the right side of your chart boarder to see more of the chart/information. NT has to display all of your chart data so it must visually modify the display to include the plots.
