IB: missing quotes in FX Pro.

    IB: missing quotes in FX Pro.

    Hello,

    I've successfully connected NT to my IB account (selecting halfpip in options--> tools--> misc--> data).
    when I open up a FX Pro window, the bid and ask quotes are missing (not showed).

    TWS is version 900.

    Any advice?

    John, which currencies have you tried? Please ensure the needed ones are added to your default list first and then select them in the FX Pro window -



    Do you get Level 1 quotes in the Control Center and the TWS directly?

      Hi Bertrand,

      yes, fx pairs have been already added to the default listi in the instrument manager.
      In the Control Center the bid and ask quotes are correctly shown....

        John, is this for all FX spot symbols you tried? Any errors seen in your log tab in the Control Center?

        Please also try removing the symbols from the default list and then readding them fresh. After try reaccessing them on the FX Pro window, they should be shown with a $ sign if front, i.e. $EURUSD.

          done, but still not showing.
          The symbol appears with the $ in front of it.

          Just a further info. at first, I was running a wrong build of TWS (the latest) but then I've downgraded to the 900 build installing the 900 build over the previous (not unistalling the previous).

          Anyway, the release shown in the TWS (-->help--> about TWS) is 900.

            John, thanks for the update - then I would suggest doing the following -

            1. Remove the IB account account in NT and Repair your DB under Tools > Options > Misc.

            2. Exit NT and uninstall TWS

            3. Reinstall TWS 900.6 from here - http://www.ninjatrader-support2.com/...nstall_900.exe

            4. Open NT and recreate the IB account connection fresh - http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/su...ivebrokers.htm

            5. Then recheck the issue with your FX Pro window.

              I've followed all the steps but the problem is still there...no quotes in the fx pro windows...

                  Hello Bertrand, I have sent all the required stuff via NT, received a first answer, followed all the advices but the problem is still there....
                  I think that the version of TWS and NT are ok (so it is not a problem of old releases).

                  Could you please help me to solve this issue?
