Anyway To Load All IB Stocks?

Is there anyway to load all IB stocks for scanning each day in market analyzer?

They seem to reject/limit the data, is there any possible way around this?

Thank you for your post.

There is a limit on the size of data requests for the Interactive Brokers connection. This limit is imposed by IB. The only way around this is to supplement your data using another provider. Can see full list of our providers and the level of data supported at the link below:

Ok, so if I got a paid subscription such as Barcharts I would be able to load all stocks into MA and it would load each day for scanning? Does the data save so once it loads once it is quick to load each day? Also, how do you get all the symbols in there data base into MA?

If you use BarChart you will not have a throttle from your data provider.

This will mean the limitation will be your computers ability to process all the incoming data. It's unlikely your computer will be able to handle the entire universe of stocks available from BarChart.

You can create a list from the instrument manager. Tools > Instrument Manager. A fast way of creating a large list of stocks is with feature under the File menu > Import Stock Symbols.

You can then load this list into the Market Analyzer. Right Click > Add Instrument List > Select your list.

You can save a Market Anzlyzer window as part of a workspace so that you can retrieve it again without having to setup all the instruments. Below are some links to the help guide that cover these elements of the platform.
