    Gain Demo

    I'm trying to get the Gain Demo up...

    I have the connection set up and am reciving data.

    My problem is the FX-Pro window isn't filling up with the exchange pairs (EURUSD). The arrow on the bid button is switching between red and green, so it must be close to working...

    Charts are working well and all else seems normal...

    Thank you for your post.

    Please confirm you have the Forex instruments you would like access to within your Default list. If you do not please add the instruments to your Default list and let me know if the issue persists.

    I have provided a link below to our Help Guide that goes over Adding/Removing Instruments.

      Had added instruments prior... Charts are loading instruments fine...

        Hi tderrick,

        In some cases, this type of behavior can indicate a workspace corruption.

        Please open a new workspace (File > Workspaces > New Workspace) and let me know if you run in to the same issue there as well.

          Thanks, Kyle ... no luck so far...

          When I restart NT and open the Gain workspace I created , The FX-pro window appears normal. When I connect to gain, the FX-pro window corrupts...

          strange...

          Will try more stuff later...

            Hi tederrick,

            Please rename your database. With this procedure you will be required to recreate any ATM Strategies and Instrument lists you may have saved at this time.

            To rename the DB:
            • Shutdown NinjaTrader and Go to the Start Menu
            • Select My Documents--> NinjaTrader 6.5--> DB--> NinjaTrader.MDB.
            • Right click on NinjaTrader.MDB and select "Rename."
            • Name it "OldNinjaTrader.MDB."
            • Then restart the software.

            Please let me know if the issue persists after this procedure.

                Getting back at trying to set this up...

                It appears the data feed has stopped at this point. Does the feed stop after hours for the demo?

                Don't want to try rebuilding the data base unless there is something to look at...

                  Problem still exists after performing the above precedure.

                  All is fine until I connect to Gain Demo, then FX-Pro window corrupts to a smaller version that is overlapped.

                    This situation was resolved by changing the monitor resolution to 1280 x 1024
