    NT opening no workspace

    Is there a way open NT without the saved workspace,, even the default would be good.

    Thank you for your post.

    You would want to close any open workspaces from the File-->Workspaces Menu. Then you will want to save the Default workspace when exiting, and then in the future the only workspace that will open is the Default, but there will be nothing attached to that workspace.

      Problem is that the workspace is corrupted and almost never loads completely

        Hi,

        Then you can remove the workspaces and then recreate new ones to resolve that issue. To delete your workspaces:
        • Please close NinjaTrader and go to your desktop Start menu
        • Open My Documents
        • Go to the NinjaTrader 6.5 folder
        • Go to the Workspaces folder
        • Right click on all XML documents and select Delete
        • Now restart the application and it should start up normally

          NT7 Control Center does not open

          Why is the CC not opening when NT shows in task manager

          NO error messages, no clues.Was working fine the first day !

              Yes, it is enabled. The issue was resolved by unistalling several large programs. Now the NT7 works even though there is only 512 MB RAM.

              By the way there was no clue to the specific problem by looking at the Trace and Log files. My question then is where or in which file does it record the opening of the Control Panel ?

                Silversea,

                1.) You'll want to look in to upgrading your RAM as you're using about half of the minimum requirement at this point.

                2.) Windows opening or closing is not logged.

                  Yes will certainly add more RAM but don't know if I really need this huge NT7 because I only trade one market with simple but effective indicators. I do not care for mumble jumble programing features which only adds to the confusion of trading.

                  My question then is , how long is the 6.5 version going to be available or supported?

                  Must give credit to your customer service responce was quite fast and certainly higher standards when compare to others.

                    Thanks for your kind words.

                    There is no projected date upon which support for NinjaTrader 6.5 will be dropped. We expect to continue supporting this version of the software for some time.

                    In the future if you run into an issue that has been solved or improved in 7, we will inform you of this and suggest upgrading.It is likely that NinjaTrader 6.5 will not get updates unless required by major bugs or critical changes with a data provider's API.
