i use the same indicators on all my workspaces--one for oil, euro, es and
within those i use the same indicators for a time chart and tick chart.
the only difference in the code is the tick prints blue in the alert window and the time prints yellow and the wav soundsare different so i dont have to be watching to know which chart. I also have a toggle so if i am trading the euro, but the es workspace is minimized, I can switch off the alert from sounding and printing.
Yeterday afternoon I was waiting for an oil trade and missed a 20 tick move because the alert only printed a triangle on my chart without printing yellow in the alert window or making a sound.
My tick chart was working fine, but had no alert at that moment.
The indicator that failed on me was working earlier in my euro workspace.
What would cause that problem? It started to work again about 20 min later but that was 20 ticks too late.
I should add that since oil has by far, the lowest volume of any of the 3 symbols, it wasnt a volume surge.
