Horizontal Lines

Hello everybody!

I was curious, is there a way within Ninja to draw two horizontal lines a set amount of ticks apart and keep them locked at that tick amount so they can be moved around the chart?

Hi Canon54,

Thank you for your note.

There are a couple things you can do:

1. You can right click on the chart and then select and set the Horizontal Grid Lines to display a certain tick interval. This would plot lines at a specific tick distance, but the drawback is that they could not be moved on the chart.

2. You could use the constant lines indicator and apply it at values that represent the tick value distance you desire. If you do this you would need to modify the values of the Constant Lines each time you wish to move lines.


With NinjaTrader 7 this would be possible using the line drawing tool since you would be able to place the lines at specific points on the chart, and move them to values using those values. You can download NinjaTrader 7 from the following link.
