how to edit instruments for mini lot forex trading?

    Guys,

I just want to be sure. How do I edit the instruments for currencies I trade in mini lots. these are $10,000 lots, not $100,000. I can set the lot size to $10,000 and the pip value to $1.00. Is this correct? Is this all I must do to trade properly?

    Hello crmcwi,

    Thank you for your post.

Are you currently trading within the Sim101 account or are you trading live with a broker?

I look forward to assisting you further with this issue.

      Hello,

To answer your question, I'm trading live with GAIN in a Forex.com USA account.

In this case 1 lot will be determined by how your account is setup with your broker. If your account is setup for Mini Lots a quantity of 1 will be $10,000.

to trade with GAIN, you must have a special Ninja Trader account with them

          Hello all,

In order to trade with GAIN, you must set up a special "ninja trader" account. With that account, they tell me that you won't be able to log onto their web site.

I discovered this when I set up an account there. I told them I was using Ninja Trader, and they set up an account.

I couldn't connect NT to it. After a chat session with them, they realized I needed a so called "ninja trader" account to connect NT to it.

they transferred my forex.com USA account to that and told me I could not use the new "ninja trader" account credentials to access their web site.

I hope this helps someone else.
