      Hello Adamthoery,

Thank you for your post and interest in NinjaTrader!

The error message you are seeing indicates that MB Trading may not have entitled you to receive data for the GC futures contract. You will want to contact them directly to confirm this.

Please let me know if I can answer any additional questions.

        thank you

now i found where the problem is.
has to type the symbol name here.
but that is strange it doesn't work on "GC"(GOLD)AND sb(sugar)
and i ask mbt trading asistant they answer me they don't know how to set
up with nt.that is really pity.
i will keep trying to figure out how to let it work.
        thank you guys
        you are the best

            Hello Adamthoery,

You will want to input the following symbols (for Gold & Sugar) for the MB Trading symbol mapping. You can access these settings from the NinjaTrader Control Center by going to:
            • Tools > Instrument Manager > you will then locate the Sugar (SB) contract & Gold (GC) contract.
            • You will find these settings in the “Misc” tab
            • Please use the following links for the symbols; Sugar & Gold:

Please see this page on the MB Trading website that lists the various contract symbols (see the “prefix” columns)
            CBOT Futures (for Gold)
Ally Invest offers a wide range of self-directed and managed investment products at among the industry’s lowest fees.

            NYMEX Futures (for Sugar)
Ally Invest offers a wide range of self-directed and managed investment products at among the industry’s lowest fees.

I have also attached screenshots where you would input these symbol settings.

Please let me know if I can answer any additional questions.

And there is another question ,sir
i don't know if this will happen in real acc
i short CL at 86.04 and have 20 pips profits,
so i move my stop to 86.03
but the chart suddenly becomes like this(as pic)
if this is a real trade .will it touch my stoploss and close the trade?

                  Hello Adamthoery,

There are multiple factors to consider when determining if you would be due a fill (execution) on your order. The order you

I am also curious what time this price action took place. The gap down in price action indicates a lack of liquidity which could be due to an overnight session or a significant news release. Either way, you would want note that many brokers have ‘disclaimers’ that alleviate their liability with respect to execution risk under these “fast-market” type conditions. It is also possible that the data feed itself experienced an interruption. In this case we could look into the matter further & attempt to take corrective action.

The order shown in the screenshot is that of a Buy Stop order type. Under normal market conditions the apparent price action was at or below the Stop level therefore should have the order ‘elected’ & thus it would become a Market order to buy.

At this point I will need to review your Log & Trace files for this calendar day. You can find these in the My Documents section at the folder path:
                  1. NinjaTrader 7 > Trace > trace.YYYYMMDD.txt
                  2. NinjaTrader 7 > Log > log.YYYYMMDD.txt

Please attach them to an email & send it to support AT ninjatrader DOT com.

Please also reference this thread in the Title of the email.

I look forward to hearing from you.

                    hi chips
                    i sent the files already.
and in the pic is not the real market gap.
i see several times it happen in euro and cl 's chart
i know it is the fail data.
becos when i ignore it ,it will becomes normal again.
and my question is ,it data fail happens.
it may touch my order or break my acc if i have a position and that spike
                    goes the another side.
will mbt admin this trade or their system will consider it is a fake order?
                    thank you ,sir

as pic shows, the data goes well again ,and this time the price touch my stop
                    in right place.

                      Hello Adamthoery,

I received your files & have responded to your email to Support.

Note: If you ever lose your connection to the internet &/or broker – you will need to make sure to contact your broker directly to manage any open order and/or positions manually.

With respect to any loss of connectivity, it is not something we at NinjaTrader have control over. You will need to gauge how robust your internet connection is. Additionally, this will also depend on your data provider and/or broker.

If the ‘uptime’ question can be answered then you will also want to check out the Real-Time Tick Filtering feature of NinjaTrader if you believe you may experience data spikes that may impact your orders. Please see the following for more information:

I'm experiencing the same exact thing. I get the same error message as Adamthoery and also have verified that my userid/password are correct. I also was connected successfully to MBT Navigator via NT on Friday. I'm also able to log onto MBT Navigator platform when it's not through NT6.5 or NT7. I have contacted MBTrading to look into this and they asked me to contact NT.
