    Execution notification failed

The Control Center failed to receive a report of an execution, so the Performance Report is incorrect. IB shows the order executed ok, and the trade executions look ok, but the Control Center still shows no execution occurred.

Any way to add the order so the Performance Report is correct?

You could add an execution manually on the executions grid: Right click -> add execution

Continued Problems with Notification to NT

Please see the attached graphics. Three accounts and three short trades entered and received notice back to NT from TWS ok during the early AM.

Closing these trades was accomplished in TWS ok (see 082307trades).

BUT, NT did not receive notification of two trades that were executed (see 082307NTexe). Also notice that in the NT Trades, two were shown as executed and one cancelled (see 082307NTtrades).

So, NT shows two of three closing trades accomplished but the NT executions only shows one done? TWS shows all three were done.

Any ideas why this is happening. Seems frequent over the past month.

          Hello:

Thank you for your reply post.

If any historical trade executions are missing within NinjaTrader, then your executions can be affected and not present within NinjaTrader.

My guess is that you have been running positions overnight or had a disconnect from IB TWS.

You must add the executions manually as per Dierk's post. A visual representation of how to do this can be found here:

The trades that were not shown in the NT executions were not held overnight and there was no disconnect from TWS during the time of the trades. I do add these missing executions to NT so that all is correct, but the question remains as to why this is occurring?

Are others having similar problems with notice back to NT from TWS?

              Hi RTS:

              Thank you for your reply.

This is a known issue with NT and TWS. NT will prompt a Warning message stating that historical trade executions can be reported incorrectly when you setup your Account Connection to IB TWS.

Please ensure that you are running IB TWS Standalone version 874.

You may download from the IB connection page at the link below:

                Thanks Ryan,

Good to know that others will have the same problem with NT & TWS!

I am using 875.3, but most likely that is not the issue. But I will install 874 just to see.

I have been using TWS 874 without any problems as mentioned in this thread regarding the executions being sent back from TWS to NT.

Today, I noticed a new ver of NT was available and that it supported the auto login in TWS 875. I upgraded to 875.

I once again with 875 had issues with some executions not making it back to NT.

I will switch back to 874 again, but would hope that this issue with 875 can be resolved.
