NT7 & IB version?

What version of IB TWS should be used in conjunction with the latest release NT7 (7.0.0.15)? The latest release IB TWS (build 904) makes note of the enhancement to "Run API Through IB Gateway or TWS" which uses approximately 40% less system resources. Is / will this be catered for in NT&?
