Charting Issue

I do not like in NT7 how whenever I have like 5 days of data loaded it considers bars that are to the left of my chart as part of the range so that when I adjust the chart to try and make the bars bigger I can't without pushing them off the screen because because it is considering things off the chart all the bars are at the bottom of my chart or something. I can just load 2 days of data and it is not so bad. Is there a way to turn this off to get like it is in NT6.5. I like the ability to stretch it really far just do not like that it considers bars off of the chart into my range which if it is big makes my chart look really funny.

Hello Sidvish912,

Thank you for your post.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure if I understand.

Can you provide me with images of your chart showing what you describe here?

To take a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CRTL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and attach the file to your next reply,

It is not that big of a problem though but this is what happens sometimes. If I refresh my chart my chart though it will fix it, but sometimes its a little annoying.

Hi Sidvish912,

This display is due to a fixed scale being used in the chart.
Please double click on the Price axis to open the Chart Panel Properties menu. In that menu, set the Range to 'Automatic', then click OK.
