replay button on taskbar

    replay button on taskbar

    I have weird problem. when I connected market replay, that little replay button in task bar and can't maximize. I have run this everyday and this has happened few times. any way to make that button come up ? :-

    Hi kumaresh11,

    Thank you for your post.

    You can right click on the Market Replay Playback bar on the Windows Taskbar and then select Move. Then use your arrow keys to bring it into view.

    If that does not work then you will want to remove your workspaces and then connect to Market Replay and recreate the workspaces.

    To delete your workspaces:
    • Please close NinjaTrader and go to your desktop Start menu
    • Open My Documents
    • Go to the NinjaTrader 6.5 folder
    • Go to the Workspaces folder
    • Right click on all XML documents and select Delete
    • Now restart the application and it should start up normally

      the problem is that, right click on replay button don't give menu at all when it sits on task bar. I already have closed all workspaces and have a new one with 1 chart. and restated NT, still have the same issue

        If right clicking on the icon on your Windows Taskbar does not yield the available options then the issue is not related to NinjaTrader.

        However, even if you are using a new workspace you will want to remove the workspaces using the instructions from my previous reply to resolve the issue, as there is a corruption of the general workspaces that is causing the issue.

          after deleting all workspaces and restarted like you said, it resolved the issue .
          I hope restoring those workspaces not a good idea as you say they are corrupted and didnt know that before. let me know but thks for help in fixing.
          I am recreating new workspaces anyway

            You can restore the workspaces one at a time to see which one was causing the issue. That way you can remove the one and keep your others while still resolving your issue.
