How to do I view current signals from strategy?

I am just figuring out NT, and have a quick question. If I create a strategy to be run daily, how do I run it so that I can see the list of signals that strategy says to trade?
    Thanks,
    CP

    Hello CP,

If you refer to backtesting the strategy in the Strategy Analyzer, please see the link below for instructions and more information.

Once you performed the backtest you can check the performance tabs for results.

If you like to run the strategy on real-time data in simulation or live, please see the following links.

I have looked at the docs you posted, but still have questions.

I think that my situation I need to use the backtest method. So if I sit down at my computer once a week, backtest a group of instruments with my strategy. I see where I can click on each instruments and see its list of trades, but I don't see how I can see a list of all the trades, so I can see what the latest simulated trades were. I see the performance tab, but this is blank, how does this connect with the strategy tab?

        CptanPanic,

The Strategy Analyzer does not contain a performance tab per se. Can you please clarify where you are looking at?

I realize that the strategy analyzer does not have a performance tab, but Jason above said "Once you performed the backtest you can check the performance tabs for results." Note I am using 6.5. So where can I get the information I want?

I was referring to the Summary, Chart, Graphs, etc tabs in the Strategy Analyzer. Once you performed a backtest the results will be display in these tabs.

Please see the attached screenshot that displays a section of the Trades-tab after I performed a backtest.

Ok but if I do a backtest on a group of instruments, such as the S&P500, how can I see a listing of all the trades made combined? I wouldn't want to have to click each one to determine if there were any new trades made.

                CptanPanic,

Unfortunately there is no portfolio level backtesting where it is combined right now. What is available is a basket backtest which is what you are seeing. Each instrument is tested separately and independently of each other.
