    Can't access instruments

I have 10 yrs of historical data for ESmini, I have created the instruments with rollover dates, I have imported data to the instruments and the edit page shows 48 instruments present, but I cannot add them to an instrument list. where am I "falling off track"?

    Hello Sleeping Troll,

    Thank you for your post.

1.) What occurs when you attempt to add the instruments to your default instrument list?

2.) Are these instruments present in the Instrument Manager's master list?

3.) Which version of NinjaTrader are you using? (Help > About)

      I am using 7.0.0.16

When I select the ES master instrument and click on the "Expiry" block I get a list of the 8 files that I have in my Five4Freedom list.

When I click on the ES master and click edit then select the misc tab, at the bottom under contract months it shows "48 contract months defined".

        Hi Sleeping Troll,

        Not sure that I follow.

If the expiries are listed in the instrument manager, what occurs when you attempt to add one of these to the default list?

            Hi Sleeping Troll,

Just so that we may rule out a procedural error, can you please review the steps to add an instrument to the default list, listed at the following link and confirm that all necessary steps are being taken?

Yeah, that is all fine, my problem is that I have added contracts so I could import the data for them, the import went fine... Now I want to add them to my instrument list... I am really ignorant about all of this, my goal is to test a strategy with years of data.
