    Charts Not Updating

    I've finally switched over and downloaded version 7. My problem is when I open a chart, it loads the chart and shows the data only up until the point I opened the chart, but the data does not update real time. I'm using ZenFire and I see that my data is working because I can watch it on the Control Center but my charts don't update. Any ideas?

    Hello BrandonLG83,

    Can you please check what session template is selected in the Data Series menu of the chart. Please select the 'Default 24/7' session template to load all available data. Most likely you have a session template selected that excludes the time you check the charts.

    You can check what session template is used for <Use instrument settings> in the Instrument Manager. Highlight the instrument in question and click Edit. You can view, edit and create session templeates in the Session Manager, which you can access via Tools-->Session Manager. More information can be found at the link below.

      Thank you for the reply NinjaTrader_Jason. I have all of my charts set to Default 24/7, but it's still not updating. One thing that I just noticed is this is only happening on the continuous contracts, in this case NQ ##-##. The NQ 06-10 contract updates no problem. I really need the continuous contract though, so do you have any advice on what I should do?

        Could it be your connectivity provider does not support continuous data? Please let me know to what connectivity provider you connect.

        I suggest to contact the connectivity provider and verify if they supports continuous instruments.

                    Unfortunately Zen-Fire does not support continuous data (##-##). Please use the current front month.

                          Once you clicked a topic on the main page of the forum, you should see the New Thread button as per the screenshot. Make sure you are logged into the forum as well.

                          If not, can you please clear your browser cache and try again. In the mean time you can post your inquiry if you like.
