Chart of the TICK on ninja

EDIT: Lots of people are trying to duplicate the charts above, and they are all putting the indicator on a plain ES chart. That won't work... you have to apply the indicator to TICK data. To get what I have above, you have to put ES bars and the TICK bars on the same chart, hide the TICK bars, and then apply the indicator to the TICK bars. This is possible with TS and Multicharts and to a lesser degree eSignal, but not ninja until NT7 comes out. You can still pull up a chart of the TICK on ninja and apply it.]

Can you help to explain how to apply this to a Tick chart as I have never used TICK chart. I am sure they don't mean Time frame, TICK/Range, but some chart like TICK in place of ES

    Hello,

The are refering to the TICK Index which is the symbol ^TICK in NinjaTrader for the NYSE Tick. This is not the same as a tick chart.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

        Hello,

It is added to the intrument manager by default so no need to add it.

What connection technology are you using?

              Hello,

This is why you will be unable to add this to the chart. You will have to use NinjaTrader 7 to add this instrument however you have no data for it.

The Zenfire connection only supports Futures data. The TICK is a Index therefor you will need a connection that support indexes. Those that support this will be on the list below and will have an I in the column for instruments supported.

NinjaTraders Data feed Providers and what they provide:
