TWS 900 Support

I contacted IB support about the implications of rolling back to TWS 900 instead of using their latest version. Their response was as follows:

"I would suggest you to contact Ninja Trader to see if there is a newer version of their software available for you to use. TWS Build 900 was released November 2009. There has been many changes, upgrades and fixes made since then IB can not guarantee the stability of our software when you run an outdated version."

I am curious why NinjaTrader does not support the latest version of TWS. In light of the above response it appears that TWS 900 is not suppored by IB and they state that it is not possible to load two versions at the same time, TWS 900 for use with NinjaTrader and the latest version when connecting directly to IB.

Thank you for your post.

Unfortunately the currently release of NinjaTrader only supports TWS 900. TWS versions are constantly changing and we only support versions we are able to fully test and unfortuantely will not be able to keep up with TWS constant changes.
