    future continuous data

i would like to get a continuous chart of future data.
Is there a difference if i choose fdax 09-10 or fdax ##-## in my data series for 1000 days in ninjatader 7.
i notice in both cases i am getting the same continuous data on my chart.Am i missing something .pls guide.

    Hi easyfying,

The '##-##' expiry would yield the continuous contract itself.
When using the 09-10 expiry, NinjaTrader is merging and back adjusting data from prior experies, simulating a continuous contract.
