    Charting Error

    "You have custom NS files on your PC that have programming errors. These errors must be resolved before you can import a NS Archive File"

    Importing the NS file is an action that I want to take to resolve this error.

    How on earth can I fix the error with a protected custom NS file as I do not have access to it.

    How am I to resolve this issue?

    Peter, please compile all presently installed NinjaScript files first to see where the error comes from so you can delete the file or address the coding issue -

      Tried uninstalling and reinstalling both 6.5 and 7 but am getting the "Cannot connect error"

        Peter, a fresh reinstall itself would likely not fix the NinjaScript errors if you did not touch the MyDocuments > NinjaTrader 6.5 / 7 folder where the raw CS files would be stored.

        Did you follow the suggestions in my email replied through support?

        What exact connection error would you get?

          Error Message:
          Login failed: Please check your account connection parameters and your internet connection.

          My account parameters have been checked as has my internet connection.

          How do I compile my NS Files?

            Are you using a live or demo account? Did you enter the username and password manually and exactly as issued?

            You can compile NinjaScript files by opening any indicator (Tools > Edit NinjaScript > Indicator > pick one) and then pressing F5.

              I have entered the un and pw as supplied and correctly. I am using a live account.
              OK I can compile indicators one at a time but in order to find out where there are errors I probably need to recompile all indicators. Can the software do this or is it one at a time only?

                Peter, if you recompile one it would automatically compile all, so if you can compile without issues listed on the lower editor section, your files are in fine shape.

                Perhaps it would be good to clarify the credentials used with your broker (alternatively we could also test them here for you, for this please contact us directly at our support at ninjatrader dot com).

                  Bertrand,
                  The Broker reset the system and now my log in works. I have also re-imported my Proprietory indicators and templates and evrything appears to be working once again.

                  I appreciate your assistance and am sorry to have inconvienced you.
