    long login times

    having a problem connecting to my broker after pressing the connect it takes about an hour or more to get the green connected to patsystem -any idea?

    Thank you for your post.

    There have been some similar cases that's I've seen which were resolved with one of the two following, so let's start there...

    1. Contact your broker and ask them to reset/renew your account connections information and credentials.

    2. If the issue perists, we can try renaming the database. This is reversible, however this process will delete your saved ATM Strategies, Trade History and saved historical data.
    Can you please rename the NinjaTrader database. To rename the DB:
    • Shutdown NinjaTrader and Go to the Start Menu
    • Select My Documents--> NinjaTrader 6.5--> DB--> NinjaTrader.MDB.
    • Right click on NinjaTrader.MDB and select "Rename."
    • Name it "NinjaTraderOld.MDB."
    • Then restart the software.

      hi
      i dont think the problem is in the ninja database
      im having a long time login connection when in us session its now 00:26 est and i can connect with max login time off 1 min

        Hello motyalt,

        Could you please contact your broker to reset/renew your Patsystems connection information and check if this will make a difference as per the Patsystems connection time.

        If this does not have any effect, can you please try renaming your database and check if this will improve the connection time. If not, please rename the database file back to NinjaTrader instead of NinjaTraderOld. Delete the NinjaTrader(mdb) file that was newly created. NinjaTrader will now use the initial database again.

        If the issue remains, can you please tell me what kind of internet connection you use. If possible, please test a different internet connection and check if you notice a difference.
