automatic connection

Hello,

Is there any automation when you start ninja to connect directly with gain in order to fill the charts ?

I am asking because if you have a big workspace it takes 3-4 min to load without connection and then when you ask the connection it erases all and makes additional 3-4 min to load.

If it was an automation we would save 3-4 min of waiting.

Thank you for your post.

There is no option to connect on startup to GAIN in NT V6.5, however this function has been added to our upcoming release of NT V7. When setting up a connection in V7 you have an option to "connect at startup"

As a workaround in V6.5, you can close your saved workspace with all of your charts before shutting down and then save your default workspace as empty or blank. Now when you start NinjaTrader, it should only start up with the control center and no charts. After you have established a connection to your data feed, you can bring up your saved workspace from File-->Open Workspace and it should restore all of your charts without having to reload the data twice.
