I have a full license with IB. I am currently testing functionality before going live - therefore, I am connecting to a simulated trading account on IB. However, my sim account has 3 different account numbers within it. I am currently routing all my orders to the same sim account, but when I establish the connection between IB and NT, NT takes control and automatically selects one account to view (in the portfolio tab in IB, you can select to view all accounts, or one specific account). However, NT doesn't select the right account and it doesn't let me change to the right one. If I select a different account in the drop down menu in IB, it automatically switches back to the one it was displaying beforehand.
How can I change the account that I want to view/how can I change the default account NT connects to?
Also, please note that It seems as though if I make a trade within a given account, then the view changes to that account. However, I don't want to have to make a random order just to change accounts....
