    Afterhour data with IB and NT

    I have a live trading account with IB. Currently setup and running perfect with Quotetracker. I would like to to change to NT as it appears to have much more to offer.
    The problem I have is that I can not get after-hour data (stocks and futures). Normal trading hours work fine.
    My setup on IB (for the API) is as described on the NT website. (note it works fine for QT) The setup for NT is the default setup. Any assistance would be greater appreciated.

    Thank you for your post.

    Can you please tell me what version of NinjaTrader you currently have installed which can be found under Help-->About. If you have NinjaTrader 7 installed please right mouse click within your chart-->Data Series-->Session template-->Select Default 24/7-->Click Ok.

    Please let me know if the issue persists after this procedure.

        Hello Steve,

        Can you please right mouse click within your chart-->Properties-->Set your Session begins and ends times both to 12:00 AM-->Exclude weekends-->Set to False-->Click Ok.

          Thanks for the quick reply.
          Appears that it's already set this way from the original install.
          Any other suggestions?

            Can you please tell me what version of TWS you currently have installed. If you do not have TWS 906 please install this version at the link I have provided below:



            If the issue persists please forward me your connection information to Support [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com with "ATTN: Chris" in the subject line.

            In the message, please include the following:
            1.) A link to this forum thread.
            2.) Your most current trace and log files.
            3.) The instruments you are attempting to chart

              Problem has been solved. The Default install on NT uses ES-06 and not 09. I have added this to the Default instrument list but is there a way to remove the "06" entry?

                To remove the ES 06-10 from you Default list please use the steps I have provided below:
                • Tools
                • Instrument Manager
                • Select ES 06-10 on the left hand side
                • Click the > arrow to remove from your list
                • Click Ok
