If I submit a ChangeOrder to move a short stop loss price down and the price happens to be at (or below) the market, the order would be rejected. Does anyone know if my original order is still in place?
It seems that would depend on whether a ChangeOrder is a cancel/replace or a true modify order. If it is a cancel replace then if the cancel worked (as it would in the above case) but the replace failed for a price rejection then I could be left without a stop.
On the other hand, if ChangeOrder is a modify under the covers then if the modified order is rejected, I should be left with the orginal order still in place.
I would appreciate any thoughts anyone has on this.
Thanks,
Scott
