Trailing Stop

Hello,

I am running NT7 and downloaded a script from the forum titled "ProfitTargetTrailingStop_1.01b Trailing Stop Strategy Framework" from the forum by alcamie. Going to File -> Utilities -> Import Ninja Script worked with success. I'm able to see the script in my file, but do not know how to implement it.

Hi DTdr2,

Thank you for your post.

If you go to the Strategies tab you can right click and select New Strategy then add the strategy. Make sure you apply the strategy to the sim101 account but you can see the available parameters.

I am not entirely sure how the strategy functions but if you left click on the user who submitted it from the page where you downloaded you can private message that user for details on the strategy.

Sorry Ryan, but I'm stuck in a rut. Can you direct me to the Strategies tab? I've trived numerous things but can't get to where I need to be.

Hi Joel,

The strategies tab will be found in the Control Center.
Please see the attached image for an example.

How do I get the strategy added to the Sim account? I have the strategy stored in my file, but do not know how to implement it into the Sim account.

Hi Joel,

After you right click in the Strategies tab and select to add a new strategy, you'll see a window where options like which account the strategy is to run on will be available.

I think I'm missing something. Control Manager -> Right Click Strategy Tab -> New Strategy...-> New Strategy window displays. In the drop down menu section I do not have the atm I imported nor do I see an "add" button.

Hi DTdr2,

What you imported was a NinjaScript automated trading strategy, not an ATM strategy.

I would suggest contacting the strategies author, alcamie, via the following link: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/f...ber.php?u=9557

They should be able to clarify the installation process as well as how to use this strategy for you.
